$3800 quote
Car was only out of gas, got quoted $3800 for new fuel tank and pump. Filled it with gas and it was able to drive away as has been running fine.

We got 1 star because we did the following: Scanned the vehicle network for codes relating to "NO START" issue; Watched scan data for anomalies like hybrid battery cell voltages, and fuel trim data; Observed the fuel gauge at TWO bars;  Put the coach battery onto a battery charger;  Put codes into Identifix and Alldata to further determine diagnostic path; Removed Mass Air Flow Sensor to inspect heated element for dirt/debris; Checked fuel pressure and it had none!;  Supplemented fuel into intake and the vehicle ran;  Added 1 gallon of fuel to tank and it did NOT run!!!  Checked the relay for power output and it was ok.  At that point it's a fuel pump 99% of the time.  I have spoken to 2 different shop owners in Ventura and not one would have thought differently.  It is a classic bad fuel pump!  We used 1000's of dollars worth of tools and decades of experience and because you have a one off you feel like getting back at us by a bad review.  Shame on you.  You clearly don't work with your hands as a skilled laborer or you'd know better.
