Customer Satisfaction
Ellis automotive has been great to work with. Consistent, communicative, and when leaving the shop, I don't feel like I've been lied to and made to pay for unnecessary parts or fixes. It's a different experience, as I've mostly been to dealerships. A wonderful change of pace and I would recommend Ellis Automotive to anyone who is looking for great service, honest pricing and friendly staff.

Very courteous and professional staff at Ellis Automotive Car Care Center
My car was seen within 5 minutes of the scheduled appointment time...Fabulous service!
I live in Lowry....but I don't mind at all driving across town to take my car to Ellis Automotive, because I trust them!!

As in the past...when I needed a wheel alignment, brakes and rotors...etc., I went to Ellis Automotive. Absolutely, Perfect workmanship.... every time!

Always there to help
I was leaving a store and noticed that one of my headlights was out. I called Ellis and they checked to make sure they had the lamp and then asked when I could come by. I was across the street. I went right over and the lamp was replaced.

Throttle body and sensors replaced
My husband and I have had our vehicles repaired for the last eight years at Ellis and the customer service, communication, and service has always been outstanding.
A few weeks back our Chevy Cruz needed a throttle body replacement, new sensors and spark plugs.
The car is back to running like a charm and can't be more happier!

Ellis automotive did a outstanding job in their testing and process of elimination with the auto problem. The staff and crew were professional and prompt in responding to my questions. Even though they were uncertain if their advice on fixing the problem would solve the issue, I was very pleased for their honesty and excellent service. Highly recommended. Great experience.

Great experience
I had a to-do list and they were able to help me prioritize according to necessity and fit into my budget and were able to get it done in a timely manner. Most recently they were able to squeeze me in for a dead battery and had me out in under an hour. This is my go-to for car repair and maintenance now.

Excellent care at Ellis Automotive
Despite some name changes over the years, I've been a customer here since May of 2008 (I have some records). They have always been very quick to help (work is done quickly). Accurately diagnosing problems and making repairs to my vehicles (A Volvo XC90 and Mercury Milan Hybrid). I trust what they tell me, and they do good work. Whenever I ask for explanations, they're more than willing to show me the wear, the damaged component, a diagram in a repair manual, etc. They take the time to listen to my descriptions of problems, and explain all procedures needed to repair the vehicle. Unfortunately, the most recent owners (a company that has bought up a lot of independent garages in the area) have changed their pricing policies, and now Ellis Automotive costs more than some dealerships. When I expressed concerns about the pricing, they were able to explain where the charges come from, who sets the prices, and what they could do to alleviate some of the costs. I provided them with comparisons (from service at a local dealership) and they were able to communicate that information to the new owners. Hopefully, an adjustment in rates (based on local prices) will keep Ellis Automotive competitive in terms of parts and labor. The work they do is always 'Top Notch' and I trust them more than the dealerships. A recent repair to my Volvo spared me the expense of a new engine (what I feared/what some (Not Ellis Automotive) said I would need), got me back on the road, and extended the life of my vehicle. I'm a cost conscious and discerning customer. I am willing to pay a little more for the superior service, but Ellis Automotive has to be careful about their pricing policies, some customers weigh price of service over quality.

Great service!
Ellis Auto has always treated my vehicle issues in a timely manner and have always been professional and courteous. They got me back on the road quickly when I would have otherwise had to cancel a planned trip. Nice to have a shop nearby that you can count on.

A mechanic shop that doesn’t know what's wrong with cars
I took my vehicle expecting for them to tell me what’s wrong with my car but instead I got I don’t know what’s wrong with it on top of that it seemed like they only briefly looked at it and just put it to the back and forget about it. Waist of my time and money I would not recommend not even for a oil change
