National Auto Service1ST and most importantly thank you for your business we do appreciate it very much. Unfortunately parts carry a warranty from the manufacturer. We pass on to all customers / consumers that particular part warranty. Some provide 1 year some provide 2 years and some provide a lifetime warranty. Most anything electrical comes with a one year warranty. Some are 90 days... In your case the parts were 4 months past the warranty. We did ask and the vendor said no on warranty, we don't control that. However we were able to reduce the cost for both items for you and it was 163.00 dollars less than paid 15 months ago and things have gone up in cost. This was done in an effort to be helpful and create some satisfaction. To add to the problem for us is the simple fact that parts are mostly made in China and the quality control is not what it use to be. Again out of our control... Please know we do care and we do our very best to have satisfied customers. We have been here a very long time and we do care. Anything less than 5 stars is very concerning to us and given our full attention.

In your case a radiator hose had come off completely. We replaced the hose connector filled up the system the vehicle seemed fine with no issues. Hope you have found a resolution to the problem. 1st thank you for your business... We have been at this location over 30 years and have a very good reputation for our repair work. Your vehicle was towed in not running at all. When it left the vehicle was running. Yest we priced you other repairs that were needed. You had coolant in the back of the vehicle you had been as your water pump was leaking badly. It was your choice not to repair it. Also your battery was stone dead and didn't want to take a charge. As far as it not running properly you brought it back per our request as everything we do has a warranty. There was a bad part we repaired it under warranty at no cost to you.

First we want to thank you for your business we very much appreciate it.
Also did want to mention what your referring to "missed issues" was the the valve cover repair on your car. 99% of the time replacing the gasket on the valve cover fixes the leak on a valve cover. On a rare occasion valve covers do warp or distort and it is not our intention to jump immediately to selling the entire valve cover as they are very expensive and very rarely needed. Further we discovered the issue before the car left, we are very thorough in our work and discovered this before giving your vehicle back to you. It is very common after a vehicle inspection and the repairs are performed to find hidden additional problems once you actually do the repairs or take it apart. Think of it like surgery doctor says we have to go in and fix ... Then once in something additional is found because it was impossible to see it or the x ray didn't show that... We did also mention the battery right from the start as you said it was under warranty and would get that handled. We ultimately were glad to do it for you at no additional cost. The actual reason you new battery failed was, on euro cars and particularly BMW you must tell your computer system that the battery was replaced and it is not trying to keep an old battery charged up. This is a common problem we see very often, most people just don't know about the proper process ... We always make every effort to go above and beyond most repair shops. We have been here over 30 years and enjoy a good solid reputation because we always go above and beyond.

We genuinly care about you, your car and the overall outcome of our service. Most of all we care that you feel you obtained a good value for the time and money spent. It was an odd part number that we didnt stock and Napa was having problems in there delivery time. Wewould appreciate the oppertunity to do your next service.
