Outstanding local auto service
Air conditioner in my 2004 vehicle stopped working. Danny’s crew found the leak, got parts and got it fixed in less than 48 hours! Very friendly, honest and reasonably priced.

Clear conversation about a complex repair
Dan and Anthony told me in a very clear way what needed to be done in fixing my cabin air system. My car is old and that adds wrinkles to the problem, but they explained the situation to my satisfaction. The problem can be fixed and Tony’s has always been reliably fair to me.

Very disappointed
I took my jeep wrangler in because it had a leak. I already knew there were issues with it. The estimate they gave me was about 5000. I didn’t have them fix it because not sure if I was going to keep it. So, when I picked it up they originally wanted to charge me 500 just to inspect it. When I was shocked and said are you serious they knocked it down to 234. Then they said they could charge me 130 if that was better. Of course I still thought that was high but I paid it. What doesn’t sound right is why try to charge me 500 to begin with? Thats ridiculous. They said labor per hour was 224.00?? On average labor is generally 75-130 an hour. I felt as though they were wanting to see if I would pay the 500. When I questioned the amount, I was not comfortable with the guys reaction. I felt uneasy about his integrity, Just a gut feeling. I’m really disappointed because it is hard to find mechanics you can trust and I was hoping I found one until I picked up my truck. Guys seemed really nice but not sure how it went from 500 to 130 to inspect. I appreciated not getting charged that much but at the same time why even begin with that amount? They didn’t fix anything and charged me $43 for parts? Didn’t get any parts! Very disappointed.

these guys are the guys you've been looking for.
finally, a shop with talented honest pragmatic mechanics. i've never looked back after leaving the dealership and the small homey garage i thought was doing me a solid til they upcharged $600 on a transmission job they sent around the corner to AAMCO. You'll feel great with the way Tony's on 16th St is run.

These guys will rip you off
My son took his car in because it was leaking oil. Dan I believe is the owner quoted him $3800 and said he would need the car for at least a week because he didn't have the proper tools to do the repair. We took the car to an honest mechanic and he completed the job plus an oil change in about 4 hours for a total of $489

Repair work.
I have been going to Tony’s for sometime now and keep going back. These guys do great work at a reasonable rate. They even take the car to inspections for you.

Always excellent
Tony's has always been extremely fair in assessing what NEEDS to be done on my car. I have literally gone to the dealer and other shops and been told thousands of dollars work needed to be done and Tony's has come back saying that those things are not yet necessary. Great work done and only the work needed
