"What a great car!"

The above quote is from a seasoned and conscientious mechanic, I ( for the sake of clarity: I am not that mechanic ) have been a full-time companion to a now-93-year-old lady, who owned this car originally. When she gave up driving ( in California ) she gifted it to a daughter and son-in-law, who had it shipped to their New York address. Recently I agreed to purchase it, and for the time being I will continue to use it to chauffeur "Milady" here and there, which every winter means TO FLORIDA, to escape the icy clutches od the northeastern winter, I bought the car because I have now been driving it for more than 4 years ( with my elderly friend ensconced in the back seat ), and I know how good and reliable it is!!

After 15 years, absolutely no major problems, just normal ware and maintenance. Best car that we have ever owned.

Toyota Avalon exceeding expectations

I bought this 2002 Avalon with 41,000 miles. It now has 136,000 miles & runs like the day we bought it. We follow Consumer Reports recommendations for many purchases & it has lived up to their high ratings & has exceeded ours. We still get over 30 miles per gal. on trips plus it rides like a grand luxury vehicle, I would replace it with another Avalon.

My Avalon rides like a dream

This car still rides like a luxury car. The body design is timeless. The vehicle doesn't show its age. It is a respectable business automobile and a great family car for the kids and the dogs. Kudos!

great smooth ride due to excellant suspention system. we are sorry that the newest model do not have the same independent suspention system as 2002 model.

Az Auto Clinic Review

Best car my wife ever owned. Have not had many problems. We had an air bag light come on and took it to the dealership (Alexander Ford ) they told us it was an air bag system failure. This was the only problem we had.
