I went here for coolant hose replacement. I misunderstood their policy, I thought if they repaired it I wouldn't pay a diagnostic charge but $45 was on my bill. I was in a hurry when I picked it up and didn't look at the work done. Next morning I looked and seen a hose wasn't hooked up. Took it back, turned out Mechanic had left old hose in the engine and it had wedged in. He didn't seem to be phased by it. Total cost was $195. I will not return there cause my whole experience was not good. Do not recommend.

Oil and grease on interior.
The mechanic changed the oil and got oil and grease on the stealing wheel,leather, and really bad ground in oil grease and grit from his boots on the carpet.This could be easily prevented by placing newspaper on the carpet and whipping down the stearing wheel and leather.A big mess for me to clean up. This shows disrespect for the customer's property.

Not reliable
my son bought an alternator and had trouble putting it on his car, took it there and they agreed it was what was needed. THAT cost $45. They installed it, he got 40 miles away, it stopped working. THATS when he discovered they don't guarantee their work. AND they overcharged on the towing fee by almost double! Absolutely WOULD NOT recommend this place.
I've had my cars repaired at Norman Automotive several times. Every time, I'm pleased with the work, pleased with the price, but very disappointed in how long it takes. If you're looking to have a car repaired there, expect to be without your car for at least a week. But when you do finally get it back, it will be repaired to your satisfaction.
Kevin and Heather are like few that you will ever come across. They are kind, courteous and will go EXTREMELY far out of their way to help you. I came barreling into the shop on a Monday morning with a massive problem, there was some sort of issue with the ignition on my truck and I desperately needed some help. I use this truck for my business so you could imagine the trouble I was in. Heather immediately called Kevin to the front to see if there was anything they could do. Kevin dropped everything he was doing and got the truck running within a couple of hours. My review is not based on the fact that they got my truck running (they obviously know what they are doing), however, it is based off of my interactions, their thoughtfulness and care for me the customer. They could have easily turned me away and/or charged me an arm and a leg as this was not a scheduled service repair but they did not. After receiving the invoice, I expressed that it should have been way more for the trouble they had to go through. Kevin’s response: “that’s not the way we do business”. I do not even live in this state, but if I did, I would never go anywhere else.
Heather took very good care of me and my car she found the part that I need Ed and thought that it was going to be difficult to find and lowen behold she found it! Took a few days to get it in but when it arrived I was assured a 3 hour turnaround and again they did it in a timely manner. I definitely recommend them for any of your automotive needs.
