My car of choice!

In my opinion, the Hyundai Elantra is the car for me. Been driving Elantras since 2005 and have owned two. A 2005 that never gave me any problems until a deer took it out. I now own a 2012 and I am very pleased with everything about it!

Quite servicable except for the...

I am mostly very satisfied with my 2012 Elantra EXCEPT for the exceptionaly poor design of the electronic trunk release button on the key fob. I have opened the trunk hundreds of times by mistake. I have received absolutely no help from the dealer with this extremely annoying issue. It is a major annoyance. It ssuch a bother that it would affect my consideration of buying another Hyundai. Think this is a petty complaint? Think about coming back to your car after shopping finding your trunk open or having to get out of the car while it's raining to close the trunk lid. This has been going on for over four years. I think I'm viewed as whiner by the dealer so I just don't mention it any more.

Easy Like Hyundai Morning

My three cars prior to purchasing a Hyundai were expensive and purportedly high performance. Not only is my Hyundai better in the snow than my previous vehicles (doesn't it snow in Germany?), it's value has more than made up for the fleeting, and kinda shallow, feeling of driving a 'luxury brand' car. This is the first car I've owned that I recommend without any reservations. Reliable, good looking and affordable - what else matters?

Very happy five years later

This car has been one of the best vehicle purchases I have ever made. I've not had a moment of trouble and the odometer just turned over its first 100,000 miles this month. I plan to stick with Hyundai for the foreseeable future.

2012 Elantra

I love my Elantra it has been gas efficient for the most part although it has been fluctuating recently and lower on my in town consumption. But OTR is still up around 36-37 MPG. I would definitely buy another Hyundai Elantra.

I love my 2012 Elantra Limited!

Amazing vehicle; has power, comfort, SAFETY, excellent service department, good gas mileage. The ONLY fault I have found is handling at fact speeds on curves. But, hey we all can't be speed racers!

Lives up to claims of mileage and comfort

I've had my car for almodt 4 years. I travel to AZ a lot, which is about a 2000 mile round trip. When I travel I feel confident that my vehicle will get me there without breakdowns and with a good gas mileage. I am pleased with the added features available on my Elantra. Traveling long distsnces I can listen to satellite radio uninterrupted all of the way even though I travel rural areas and through mountain passes along the way. If I need to travel to an address I'm not familiar with I can easily find it with the use of my GPS.

Great Reliable Commuter Car

I have owned my Elantra for over 6 years now. It has been a very reliable commuter car (I drive 75 miles a day round trip). All issues encounter other than maintenance items were fixed under warranty. Very decent Gas Mileage (It gets around 28 mpg average for me driving in heavy traffic). Could have more comfortable seats and a quieter\smoother ride. I think some of these items have been addressed in newer models.

Love My Elantra!

I bought my Elantra brand new and was pleasantly surprised a few days later to read that it had been chosen as Car of the Year. It has lived up to that accolade. Now 5 years later it is still running like a charm with just the regular service. The only disappointment was the announcement that its mpg figures were erroneous.

I am completely satisfied with my vehicle, I maintain service and its been totally reliable. I plan on gifting it to my daughter who will be a new driver next year, then I'll buy another Hyundai to gift to my son in two years!
