2013 Elantra

For the money, this car has some features I only found on my Cadillac I owned previously: i.e., heated seats. Love auto calling feature. Have had car 4 years and minimum maintenance has been required and car runs great. Weirdly, still doing great with original windshield wipers. Here in Florida everyone says have to change every year or don't do a good job and mine are still clearing the windows just fine.

I love the sleek look of this yr 2013, my car runs great and I get a lot of compliments! the newer models are too boxy looking. Awful colors, I will not buy any Hyundai newer models, Ill get a SUV.

Best car I've ever owned

Other vehicles I have owned have had some issues just after 100,000 miles. I am currently past 114,000 miles and the vehicle is performing better than I would have expected. I credit this to the vehicle and the service department. Recently I had an uncomfortable experience with the service department that was contrary to my past experiences up to that point. The Service Department was willing to work with the situation to come to an acceptable conclusion. My view is that things happen and the worth of an organization is not diminished because a problem presents itself but how the organization reacts to work the problem to a satisfactory conclusion for all parties involved. That is what I feel Jim Hudson's Service Department did.

Great retirement vehicle

My Elantra is all and more than I expected. Comfortable, quick, and mileage has been terrific. Very little maintenance other than routine oil changes and great dealer support. Negatives: road noise is a distraction, not good in icy, snowy conditions. One surprise, hauls as much as an SUV. I can't believe what I have been able to stuff in that trunk.

Just One Tbing

Everything is great about the car except that the way the front end is designed it is hard to judge how far away from a wall or poll, parking cement guard etc. I am always too far back in a parking spot . A couple of other people that have driven my car say the same thing.

I love my Elantra. It is easy to drive and handle and it has smooth driving and I love the color. I know that I can relay on it. I want to upgrade my car but I hate to trade this car in so I think that I will keep it a while.
