Hyundai delivers

It’s been a year since we purchased our first EV and we have no regrets. This car has the looks, the interior space and performance. Would have voted 5 stars but minor tweaks of missing items for this generation (rear wiper, auto trunk sensor/hands free, rear air vents) we felt should have been mandatory for every Ioniq5 model. We get compliments and stopped all the time about our car! (All black model)

The car has it's quirks, but is still a good value for the price. So far it's been a good vehicle as a daily driver and good for road trips. Range is good and vehicle is very comfortable to drive. 4 stars

Great

Great car, but my three Chevy Volts were more polished in some respects. Instrument panel in Ioniq 5 is confusing and difficult to use compared to one in Volt. Center console in Volt is easier to open, too. Volt had the time to add a bit of refinement lacking in first-year Ioniq 5.

Best Car I ever owned

I was able to get this car 2 weeks after applying for it. I feel like I won the lottery. I get many compliments and my 4 kids now want one. Not having to worry about the cost of gas is wonderful. I can charge it in my garage with no problem. It gets at least 250 on a charge so never had an issue with travel

Overall great family vehicle/ev

Great overall electric vehicle fairly priced good for families and performance for an suv. Interior is my only concern quality of materials used on door panels is poor and dirty very easily. Trunk space is adequate interior is great leg room. Head space and comfortable.

Solid EV choice with some bugs

Good ride, great interior, some issues exist with Adaptive Cruise Control on curved highways thinking that traffic in adjacent lanes are in your lane. A rear winder wiper would be a great future addition as its void creates some visibility issues during and after rains.Overall, solid but improvements much needed.

Please have corporate office contact me - my brand new Ioniq5 has been in the shop for over 2 months.

Please read below for cons. I just want someone to step up from corporate and do the right thing. I purchase this car with my hard earned money and for it to be at the dealers for this long is criminal. Please step in and do the right thing by exchanging the car out today!

Excellent balance of build quality, fastest EV charging system tied w/ Porsche's, very comfortable and ergonomic interior, unique tech like HUD, cooled seats, Apple Carplay/Android Auto, sunshade. Some minor quibbles on some omitted features but overall a great vehicle in its class.

Excellent build quality, ergonomics, fast traction battery charging system. Inspired by the same designer as the Delorean and Hyundai Pony concept. Very quiet, comfortable interior with excellent balance of touch screen infotainment and physical controls. Has things the Tesla Model Y does not have like build quality, HUD, cooled seats, sunshade, fast charging 800 volt system, physical stalk for wipers, lights, volume knob, etc. are better as physical controls. Apple Carplay, Android Auto vs. in house controls. I'm aware of the design choices they made to build this car and it's no Lucid Air Sapphire or BMW iX M60 but it's not meant to compete w/ others that are 2-4x the price.

outstanding vehicle

Ioniq 5 is the best EV on the market at the moment and offers best of all the competitors in same package. It is very comfortable quite car with nice plush ride in a quiet cabin. The seats are very supportive and offers comforts for all body frames. The car has excellent handling and can sprint fast when required. The overall styling is very retro modern which is very refreshing as compared to other car designs. The looks are deceiving as the car does not look as big from outside but is very spacious inside with plenty of room for everything. It has one of the fastest charging speed amongst all EV's in it's class which makes long rides possible. I made a good decision to go with Ioniq 5 and would recommend it to everyone looking for a great EV.

Great EV for the household of 4 or less. Fun to drive, and pleasure to own. App has room for improvement, such as mileage accuracy. OTA feature is finally available. Wish it has USB C and wireless Android Auto.

I love my Ioniq 5, one of my favorite cars I've ever owned.

I got the Ioniq 5 in 2022 with the Limited Trim and have no regrets. The 360 camera is amazing for parking, as well as the pickup even in eco mode makes the car feel responsive and agile. It's a head turner with it's unique design and pixel lights, and I am still excited to drive it every time I get in a year later.

need to improve quality.

Ioniq 5 2022

I absolutely love it. The vehicle is quiet, comfortable and reliable. The interior is spacious, great leg room on both front and back seats. I do think it needs the rear windshield wiper and should be recalled to have it installed. Also, the charge door doesn't always open with the remote control.

I absolutely love my vehicle. It's reliable, quiet, and comfortable. The down side is that it doesn't have a rear windshield wiper. If possible, I would like to get one if available. Also, another concern is the battery degrading and how much it would cost to replace when the time comes.

The car is comfortable, fast, economical. The saftey features are excellent. All of the camera views and warning sounds alert you to a 360 degree view. The rear hatch compartment is spacious for a car of this size. The ability of adjusting the hatch to a specific height is great when opening in a garage.

Excellent car except for cold weather charging issues.

We've had our Ioniq 5 for a year and put 20,000 miles on it. We do most of charging at home (level 2) with now problem. However, we drive often from Los Angeles to Washington state, about 1200 miles, and we find there are too few fast-charging stations along the route, and sometimes they are crowded or don't work (Electrify America). Also, when it is cold (45 degrees Fahrenheit or lower), the fast charging is severely impaired.

Best Car EVER

I have had numerous vehicles in the past and I am proud to say this is the best. Hyundai should be very proud to have the ioniq 5 in it's line up. I had a Tesla previously and you can't compare the two. The ioniq 5 beats it in every way
