That’s right

I work for genesis the only regret I have is not buying a gv60. I love the Ioniq 5 for its reliability but it doesn’t come with as many features as I would like it’s great for a daily commute. I don’t drive it to often but it’s nice

Have had vehicle for a month - so far really enjoy it!

Really like driving a full EV - smoothness of the motor and one pedal driving. Lots of room both front and rear seating - very comfortable. The sound system could be better. Overall very pleased so far.

Love my Ioniq 5

Comfortable, responsive, safe, easy to drive, a good blend of buttons for commonly used things like climate and touch screen, fast charging, nice looking. No rear wiper. Built-in Hyundai nav is quirky and cannot find some places easily found with other apps on CarPlay.

Superb EV, with all the right moves

I pusued this vehicle for three months. After renting one for a week (and also the competing Kia EV-6) I settled on the Limited choosing the Gravity Gold Matte paint (It's really a satin). This vehicle has it all. 800 volt architecture, super fast 18 minutes fast charging, plus 2 years unlimited miles of free extra fast charging at Electrify America, it handles well, has a complete suite of highest tech safety features, Heads Up Display, range up to 259 miles, 111 mpge. You could drop the vision roof (mine has never been open), the rediculous reclining calf rest. But I love the spider web wheels, the angular body creases, the Mario Brothers pixelated head and tail lights. Truly a balanced and integrated design that will turn heads for years to come.

Still has some quirks, the HVAC is moody, sometimes it works perfectly, other times not at all. Shut the car off for a couple of minutes and it resets and works. Never had to 'reboot' climate control before.

Powerful, but with design flaws

I love how powerful and fun this is to drive, and it's a good looking car. And I like how spacious it is inside. But there are several things I hate about this car and am frustrated by every day: the very poor placement of all driving info on the main display (all hidden behind the steering wheel); lack of a rear wiper; very uncomfortable seats/headrests; poorly designed climate control panel; lack of wireless phone connectivity; some handle lock issues (they'll pop out when you approach the car...except for when you open the trunk first; then the doors won't unlock at all). So, nice car, but frustrating on a regular basis to deal with design flaws.

Fun to drive

Vehicle is fun to drive and looks good. Range as good or better than advertised. A lot more road feel than I like, but still quiet inside the cabin. Very annoyed with rattling from the lift gate that started in brand new car just few weeks after the use. Back seat belt buckles also cause rattling sound if not facing correctly. This one could be avoided if there was a clip holding the belt and not let it hit the side. Also, for the price there are a few convenient feature available from Luxury car makers and missing in this one: wireless CarPlay/Android auto, seat memory buttons.

I love this car

I love this car. I have never in my life loved a car, and never really cared much about cars other than doing the job that I need them to do: getting from here to there. Now, for the first time in my life, I love a car, and it is this one.

Lots of fun!

I love my new Ioniq 5! I have fun every time I drive! I enjoy the nav system, sound system, and drive features... and the best part is when it is time to ZOOM, she'll get up and go! So fun for around town. Have yet to do a distance trip, but I know it'll be an easy ride.

Very nice ride!

Love this car. Nice smooth ride and responsive handling. Handles well during highway driving or back road driving. It surprised me how much pick up it had when I passed another car on the highway. Quiet ride!

Excellent little car!

When looking to go EV, I tried a number of options and this one was the one that I kept coming back to. At the price point, it had more going for it than any of the others I tried. I have yet to take a road trip, but expect to do so in the coming spring.

nice but problems

loved this vehicle but the problems with it were too much to handle. first I had the heater not working that resulted in the car being down for over 30 days before it was fixed. then the 12v battery went being charged by the drive battery and I kept having to jump start it.

Rattles, A/C problems eclipse the otherwise fun driving experience.

This car is amazing in so many ways and comes up short in a few ways. The range has never come close to the advertised range and good luck find a charger on the Electrify America network that will charge at the highest speeds to obtain the fabled 10% - 80% in 18min.

Great, cool car

We love how quiet and comfortable it is. It has lots of pickup, and many safety features. It can get over 300 miles on a charge, depending upon how much A/C or heat is used and your driving style. We love the appearance.

Excellent!!

Love the quickness and quiet, comfortable interior with out of this world exterior styling. Some growing pains (software) but minor annoyance. Map graphics could be better. HUD should be able to project navigation from Apple CarPlay sources.

Best car ever!

With as many cars that I have had over my lifetime, this one is the best ever. Well built, well thought out when it comes to amenities, and just pure fun! This is my first electric vehicle and will continue to go electric from now on. Most economical and ecological decision.
