Fantastic EV

This is my first EV, but it's been a pleasure to drive and own. The interior is good, the exterior is nice, and the hatchback space is sometimes critical for me as a new dad. The wife and I have hauled some furniture I really wasn't sure we could fit, and comfortably too.

Excellent Vehicle Overall

Hugely proficient car; few issues and good dealer. The minuses: many controls with nebulous labels are hard to read. Even having had a hybrid, this car has a steep learning curve, but it's so good!

Fun to drive, instant torque

Overall good car, paint quality below average. little rattles in the rear but nothing to even complain about but worth to mention. Range isn't the greatest but i know with time hyundai will fix that.

generally have been very satisfied with the service and car. I would like to have the problem resolved related to the infotainment system. Since I use Android auto more than the built in system the situation is workable.

Never had a new car that could not be fixed for three weeks running.

I am totally disgusted with this car, the dealer's inability to repair it, and the fact that I have not had the use of the car for 3 weeks and counting, with no end in sight. I had to demand a rental loaner. It was not offered, while I was denied the cheaper alternative of a new 12 volt battery until they know how to correct the problem. If the car is returnable to Hyundai under the lemon law, I still have had an additional $850 expense of a home charger for which there will be no reimbursement. After all of this.....would you ever buy another Hyundai!!???

Far exceeds expectations

It's quick, it tows, and it's large enough for my whole family. It charges FAST and drives far. It's downright fun to drive. These days I listen to gas cars "gurgling" away, sounding like they are trying so hard to accelerate safely onto the highway, and I find it absurd that any of us ever found that sound satisfying. This car silently and effortlessly throws you into that traffic gap you're aiming for, pulls you through tight turns, and constantly feels like it has so much more oomph to offer.

Handles surprisingly well in all conditions, and is very comfortable.

While the charging speed and range still need some work gowing forward, the Ioniq5 is a very comfortable car, handles extremely well in all conditions, is reasonably quite, and warms up quickly in the cold. I recommend it whole heartedly in the north.

Great overall car. Very economical. Fun to drive!!

It is a dream to drive. Very smooth, even over Railroad tracks. Acceleration is amazing. The large overhead window is wonderful for the back seat passengers. Great visibility. I always use the rear camera to see behind me.

Sporty, Luxury EV at a good Price

I love this vehicle. All the bells and whistles. Economical to own compared to an ICE vehicle and fun to drive. Suprisingly room and you can fit alot in this vehicle. Reccomend you take a test drive if you are interested in a Ioniq 5, you will not be disappointed.

Good EV with very good range,features,comfort & value. Poor quality

Good range, comfortable, nice features. Like the 3 year free ev charging with Electrify America. Experiencing 12 V Battery issues; didn’t expect this in a new vehicle! My other EV is a Tesla Model Y. Ioniq5 ride and comfort are better. MyHyundai application slow and has connectivity issues; Poor compared with Tesla app.

Far exceeded my expectations

This EV is absolutely exceeded all of my EV ownership expectations. This is my first EV and I will NEVER drive another gas vehicle. There’s no going back, as a 65 year old, I feel like a young kid once again when driving this car. ALL SIMLES!

Comfortable and easy driving, pretty and very quiet while driving. It is convenient for local transfers, just a short trip. Right now it is too early to tell all things. I am still learning features to use. I love this car.

Not getting the range I was told

I would love to give a positive view of you, but I can’t. I really like the car but I was told I would get over 300 miles per full battery charge. I am getting on average 245. I have made the dealership aware of this from the very start and they keep telling me it’ll reset. I’m a month in and it has not reset. I have a claim open with Hyundai. If you get this car make sure it’s fully charged before you leave the lot.

Well balanced EV.

I had 2019 Nissan Leaf and 2020 Chevy Bolt. And I also have 2024 Chevy Blazer EV. Ioniq5 is the best EV without a doubt. I have RWD with 300 mile range and 50/50 local/highway driving. Average range is well over 300 miles(about 340 summer and 280 winter). Infotainment system can be better but not big concern to me.

Beautiful Car

The styling and performance is absolutely wonderful. Plenty of leg and head room. Interior has a touch of classic in the mix of modern controls. Seats are very comfortable on long rides. It averages 315 miles per charge. Excellent purchase.

The vehicle is fun to drive and very functional for the end user.

I have a lot of fun driving this vehicle and it’s so user friendly. Shawn was awesome to come with. The bells and whistles are amazing on my car. The cameras and the panoramic window gives it such a nice touch.
