Good car for the price

I do like the car,but was very disappointed when the engine died at 12,000 miles. It is a good basic car. Does not have a lot of pick up, and truck space for grocery shopping can be tight. Other than that it is a good car.

Best for the money

Great little SUV with options you will not get in any other like heads-up display and all the safety options out there. Relaiblity fun to drive with great gas mileage. The style is modern and stand out from the blend styles out there.Highly recommend

Excellent vehicle for the price

Excellent vehicle for the price. I might have like several additional features, such as remote start and climate control, but didn't want to pay a higher price. Might have liked it a bit higher off the road like larger SUV's that cost more.

The Kona provides great value and economy but not at the expense of performance. it's a spunky little vehicle and surprisingly roomy when the rear seats are down for extra cargo. it's been a great purchase for us.

Wonder Kona

LOVE LOVE LOVE my Kona. Zippy and fun to drive. Looks great. Handles really well. Very sure footed in rainy weather or high water. I've run over a few curbs (oopsie) and it takes it like a champ. It's a sturdy little car. Surprisingly roomy for groceries and hauling stuff around. After 2 1/2 years, I still love it.

nice size good handling great mileage love the color. easy to get in and out. i can put the back seat down and get stuff in . spunky car quiet. good visibility. i am not sure if i have a spare tire I need to look that up

This is an excellent, reliable vehicle that looks good, rides well, and provides great fuel economy. It is the perfect vehicle for using in town and for short trips. This is the third Hyundai I've owned in the last ten years, and all three (2 Santa Fes and this Kona) have been great vehicles that far exceeded my expectations.

The car has a lot of recalls and issues for being a brand new car, I feel like I’m constantly having problems and issue with it. Also makes a lot of noises when I drive it especially when turning and doesn’t pick up a lot of speed.

The Kona is a fun car! I love the looks and design of this car. To get around town or to take road trips, this car provided the room that I wanted. However, if you're a mom with more than 1 child, you might be a little short on room. The truck space is small, but I didn't need a lot of room back there. Plus, the back seats fold down to give you more storage room, if needed.

Best small SUV

Good on fuel, easy to drive, blind side feature is great to have. The back up camera and alarm are great when leaving a parking space. I don;t use the lane departure feature, this would be a feature for the young drivers. I enjoy driving the Kona.

Great handling little SUV

Goes thru the snow with it all wheel drive and gets get mileage,36 average on highway . And comfortable for me and my husband who is around 6' tall and me under 5' tall. When excellerating for a 4 cyclinder it has the punch I need.

Engine doesn’t have Evan the normal accelerate

Vehicle is being weak to run engine does not have any power even in the normal road sometimes there is no acceleration for engine to move. The exterior of the car is cute but the problem is all about the engine and break noises

Photographer's Vehicle

My Kona goes anywhere I want to photograph, and it is a great ride all the way. It's easy to merge into traffic with the Turbo kick and easy to see lights. Even though my Kona is a smaller vehicle, it doesn't feel like one.

Fun time

The vehicle is what I need it gets wherever I need to go. Just CarPlay connection disconnects in the middle of driving or not at all. Car is great if need something simple and efficient. The features are great my came with a bike rack hitch love to use it.

The Kona is a stylish SUV that's fun to drive, safe and comfortable. It's handling is superb and the safety equipment is terrific. The gas mileage is reasonable for a car this size. All in all, a wonderful SUV for the money!

Pleasantly surprised

This car was researched for my wife to commute back and forth to work. Our youngest had gotten his license and we gave him her Elantra Coupe and started the search for her a new car. We had great luck with the Elantra, no issues period so back to Hyundai we went. She wanted something a bit taller to help see on the interstate commute, so we when slightly taller with the Kona. I saw what engine and transmission offerings were available and being from a racing background, I knew we had to go Turbo and 7 speed "dual-clutch" trans. I was more than satisfied with the combination. The wife then picked this way bright, over the top Green color (which I loved) and we were set! It's been a fantastic car to drive when I get the chance, it gives me a small taste of my younger years when I did SCCA events before, you know, marriage, kids, mortgage, family life. Anyway, it gives me a break from my work van. I hope this helps.

Klassy Kona

Best gas mileage for an SUV.40mpg. Has plenty of room to haul stuff. Drives great. I'll never buy anything but a Hyundai. Can't beat the warranty either. Friendship Hyundai in Johnson City Tennessee has an amazing staff and service department.
