It’s a small car with average mileage on gasoline.

I wish the car wouldn’t have a rattling noise coming from the side when making a left turn or u-turn. It’s constantly reminding me that I bought the wrong car, made the wrong choice in buying this car.

BETTER THAN TUCSON BUT NOT WONDERFUL

I HAD PURCHASED A 2022 TUCSON AND THAT WAS A BIG, BIG MISTAKE....THE TUCSON WAS MUCH BIGGER THAN THE 2018 I HAD AND WAS VERY UNGAINLY AND DANGEROUS TO DRIVE....THE KONA IS BETTER BUT NOT WITHOUT PROBLEMS

Decent vehicle for the money

I have only driven the car for less than 1000 miles and have found some minor issues so far. There are blemishes in the paint and one of the brake light lenses has a pinhole flaw. It seems to run well so far and I haven’t had any mechanical issues yet. So far my Kona has a comfortable and quiet ride although it hasn’t been taken on a highway trip.

Mostly great car

Love the car, only a few issues to knock. Alarm is over sensitive and goes off randomly. Moving from a dead stop makes vehicle lunge a bit. Very comfortable seating and once moving fun to drive. Would recommend if you are looking for good fuel economy at good price with just a bit of storage. Trunk area is okay for one person, not a family car

Wife loves the car

Because of its styling, the Kona was the only vehicle considered. We purchased the last body dtyle because of the preferred styling over the new style of the 2024 model year. My wife had the dealer find one for her that was just right.

Happy with my Kona

I was looking for a small crossover SUV and the Kona fit the bill for me. Love the lane assist and blind spot alerts and having Apple Carplay. It's a super cute car that makes me happy when I drive it.

The turbo N Line is sporty looking, and has a lot of pep! I am very happy with my choice to purchase! I have owned a Kona in the past, and wanted to upgrade to a peppier model. It handles well in snow, which is another plus!

Happy owner

The kona limited is an amazing vehicle. With features you would expect in a sport luxury car costing twice as much its an amazing value. The car is incredibly responsive and very quick but gets over 30 mph in the city. The sound system is flat out awesome. It has every driver assist that my Dads $85k lincoln does. I have had many many cars of all makes over 46 years. This is the best. Add on a free three year maintenance program and ten year/100k warranty - boom. BEST BUY EVER. So yeah, Im happy.

Almost faultless experience

In almost every way, the Kona has impressed me aside from the occasional issues with the infotainment system. A little unresponsive, seemingly unable to play songs from a USB source in album order - playing instead in alphabetical order - and intermittent CarPlay connection problems. Back seat cramped but it is a small car and mine never gets used anyway.

2023 Kona - Smooth, comfortable ride

Kona is a fun car to drive. Gives a very smooth, comfortable ride. Very impressed with the navigation system. Gets good gas mileage. The wireless charger keeps my cellphone charged and connected with auto android.

Best compact SUV ever!

This is my second new Kona. It is great to have for the feel of a car but the room of a small SUV. Smooth ride, easy to maneuver, pretty to look at, fuel efficient and comfortable inside. I just love it.

My Kona SEL exceeded my expectations!

Before I bought my Kona, I compared it to Crosstrek, HR-V, Corolla Cross, Encore, CX-30, Kicks, Equinox, and Seltos. After considering price, value, technology, reliability, and availability, I chose the Kona. Several features lead me to think of the Kona SEL as a luxury car. The two liter engine is more than adequate for highway driving. Its styling is sportier than any of the other cars I looked at, except the CX-30. The safety features are incredible.

Amazing, efficient, cool car.

I love my Kona, it is fast, reliable and the gas mileage is everything we want in a vehicle. I love the way it drives, has great acceleration and brake response, the infotainment system is great, good easy to use options. I love that teal colour in my Kona, it's beautiful. For being a compact SUV it is very spacious and comfortable and I'm a tall guy and I fit and feel great in it, the AC system is great, gets you cool pretty fast. Overall, it's the best experience I've had in a vehicle.

There is nothing I would change about this car. It's sleek, has everything you would need and more. I always feel fancy when I get in, it's a total upgrade from my previous vehicle. Everything in the car is seamless and I love the A/C, it's amazing.

Dealership has to take car back in for electrical issues

My car throws no error codes but the turbo does not come on and the car will not accelerate or up or down shift and it's unsafe to drive. Dealership drove the car while it was happening. But turn car off and back on it works normal until it decides to do it again. So my new car is in the shop because even though they have witnessed the issue first hand they still are being made to replicate it thervy causing the customer to just be in limbo.

It'll knock your head back!

Great car! I had previously driven a Nissan Juke and had loved it; this blows it out of the water. Wonderfully responsive acceleration allows seamless passing, AWD gives great grip in corners, and it's roomy even for a big guy like me. I'm a studio photographer and it even has the room for my whole mobile setup! I've been super impressed with this car for the last 4,000 miles and I look forward to many, many more!
