Do NOT Buy A Hybrid under 2017

The Hybrid Sonata 2017 and below do not have protection over the inverter radiator. Hyundai will not admit it’s in issue, but if you do your homework, they redesigned the 2018 to protect it. It’s not covered under Warenty, so you are stuck paying out of pocket $1100.00 and rental car for a few days. After jumping through hoops Hyundai should pay you back, if your inverter radiator was damaged. Don’t bother going through the dealerships, they won’t do anything for you. Go directly to Hyundai corporate and BBB.

One year of excellent driving.

After a year of driving and a long trip to the Great Rocky Mt National Park, I am extremely happy with my Sonata Hybrid. The mileage is excellent. There is little road noise and I have plenty of power when I need it! My regular maintenance trips to Fletcher's Hyundai have been good.

Love my Sonata

Overall, my sonata is a very good car. The styling is appropriate for my husband and me, and it is consistent with our way of life. The one area in which I believe improvement is needed is the drastic decline in mpg when temperatures dip into the teens or colder (farenheit). Otherwise, the car meets and even exceeds a our expectations.

Love It!

Can't Wait for More Electric Miles! I Love this Car and the money that I am saving, not to mention the Clean Air Status of The Vehicle. As Long as my jobs are in range, I only need to fill the gas tank every other month!

Hyundai Sonata is excellent vehicle never!!

very silent and excellent condition and speakers are excellent and save lot a gas.. I am very strongly suggesting to anyone who someone looking for new vehicle then I recommended this vehicle.. actually better than any vehicle similar vehicle like T or H company.

Love the options of air conditioned and heated seats.. Gas mileage is excellent. And the car was just driven to Florida and the comfort is remarkable. Gas cost for 1385 miles was under $100. Amazing...

2017 Sonata Hybrid Limited

When looking for a new fuel efficient car in 2017 it came down to the Honda Accord Hybrid Limited and the Sonata Hybrid Limited. While the Honda Accord is a fine car we chose the Sonata due to the following: lifetime warranty on the hybrid batteries vs 7 year on Honda, pass through trunk vs no pass through trunk on Accord, 6 year 60k mile warranty vs Accord 3 year 36k warranty, better safety features as Sonata has blind spot detection on both sides while Accord only on passenger side, full roof glass moon roof vs Accord small standard moonroof. The Accord was advertised to get around 48 miles to the gallon while we have been getting around 42 with Sonata in both highway and around town driving. I believe the above listed advantages of the Sonata over the Accord were more important than the slight difference in miles per gallon and that is why we chose the Sonata over the Accord. We have been very pleased with the Sonata in ride comfort and performance.

A vehicle that gives one all they want.

Gas mileage is excellent. Ride is smooth and steering is easy. Comfortable interior and the exterior attracts many looks and comments. Good looking and easy to operate interior controls. Would like the tire bag location easier to access.

Great Car

This car saves me money every time I fill up. I am getting 41.0 mi/gal instead of 19.0 mi/gal. The car is very sleek looking on the outside and well appointed on the inside. It has lots of truck space, especially after they redesigned the location of the battery.

In-town Runner

Great car for in and around town!!! So far not so great on the highway...stranded before on a trip over 600 miles. A new engine was needed on a brand new car with 2, 000 miles. So far second engine going strong with over 20,000 mile. Only other issue I had before was trying to come up a hill.

Smooth Ride

I can say honestly that I LOVE my Sonata Hybrid. Great gas milage, nice little throttle booster when you need it. Seats are comfy, great travel car! As a side note, sometimes I like to really blast my stereo and so far I have not blown any speakers which is amazing, since every car I've ever owned had a buzzy speaker or two after a few months of driving, kinda silly I know - but important to me!

Hyundai Sonata Hybrid

I am a big fan of Sonata Hybrids. I am currently leasing my 2nd one. My only issue is that the front end is very low and easy to scratch the front bumper. Perhaps adding some front cameras to avoid hitting curbs?

Sonata hybrid 2017

Next month I've owned it for a year and just turn 20000 miles. At 75-80 still averaged 35+ mpg. Comfortable ride with good sound system. Good pick up when I need it. I highly recommend this vehicle

Sonata Limited Hybrid is great!

2017 HYUNDAI SONATA

Hyundai did a great job making this car. I had mine for two years now and it still handle great and no big problems have come up yet.The dealership that I bought the car through did a very nice job showing me we're everything is and if I was going to buy another car I would most definitely buy a Hyundai again.

2017 Sonata Hybrid

I owned a 2011 Sonata and came back for this one. I wanted to go with a Hybrid this time and am glad I did. There is little inconvenience about use of a hybrid which was a concern of mine. Being able to drive 630 miles on a 13.5 gallon tank is wonderful. I love the fact that I fill up once a month (maybe twice). The car is very quiet inside and comfortable to drive.

I love my Sonata Hybrid

I needed a new phone, so I leased the Sonata Hybrid and got great phone reception in a very quiet and comfortable vehicle. I've driven every car imaginable from a Bentley to a Maserati and owned many cars in my lifetime. the Hyundai Sonata Hybrid is far and away my favorite car. It's quiet, has all necessary luxuries as more expensive cars and a friendly dealership. I love everything about it.

Nice Car, But

The Sonata is a nice care but there are a few things I don't like. First, the way if shift when it cold almost like the transmission is slipping. Second, cannot have only drivers door unlock, all doors unlock at the sametime, don't like that. Every other car I have owned you could set it to only unlock drivers door. Third, cannot turn off lock unlock tone, don't like that. Every other car I owned the tone could be turned off . Fourth, cannot turn off the stupid turn off turn off tones, hate it. Fifth, cannot turn off the stupid message on display saying to obey all vehicle laws every time vehicle gets turn on, really hate that. The good, vehicle is very reliable have not had any problems with it.
