2018 Power Ram 2500

Very well featured truck with easy-to-use controls. Fully equipped version is very nice. Poor Gas mileage is the worst feature. An updated transmission and several axle ratio options would be great.

Great truck for towing!

Overall I love my RAM. My only complaint would be that the things that do fail are always costly. I've had several things go bad, that honestly should have been recalled. In my opinion they are poor quality manufacturers defects. (ABS module, DEF filter-so far!)

Daily driver and occasional tow work.

Old Mopar guy from family owned dealership. This truck does what it was designed to do and then some. Very good fuel economy for a mean pulling machine. Ride is great on good road and acceptable on less than good. Does what expect it do do. Pulls out 10K travel trailer down the road no problem.

Best truck for the money

Been a Mopar guy since growing up in a Chrysler Plymouth dealership in th e 50’s to the 70’s. So I am a little biased. I’ve owned Chevy once, 2 Nissans (car and truck) and always go back to Mopar. It will always be Mopar to me. Have had several Mopars through the years and never a bad one. Including my first, a 1954 Plymouth 2dr hardtop.

Cummins + Limited Trim = awesome

Almost bought GM Denali; drove this and changed my mind! 2500 and diesel pulls 5th wheel like a charm! Fit and finish is excellent and all the accessories and features/options are really good! Plush interior

21 years later my second one

My 1999 Dodge 2500 diesel has been a great truck. My son now drives it. My 2018 Ram 2500 diesel is a modern version. Love the push button two level exhaust brake. Amazing mpg when driving empty. We pull a 20’ travel trailer. We also own pickup camper for roughing it.

2018 Ram

Drives like a big truck. Posts along front window are unusually wide, maybe better for rollovers, but definitely has blind spots that have to be watched carefully for. Leaking rear seal of transfer case at 10K miles. Speakers not as good as comparable Chevrolet. Side mirrors stick out too far and can't be reduced to less size like other trucks. Is squeaky. Definitely quicker than competition.

Transmission SUCKS Badly!

After owning this truck for about 5 months I wouldn't give you a dollar for the way the transmission in this truck operates.Constantly shifting between gears and the RPM ranges are totally screwed up. To far between some and not enough between others.6.4 litre gasoline engine gets around 11.5 mpg and pulling a small 1200 pound utility trailer it drops to 9.5 mpg. Totally ridiculous! Pulled a 6600 lb. boat and watched it drop to 8.0 mpg. Cant wait to get rid of it this spring when my bonus and income taxes come in! Going looking at the Chevy and the GMC first and we will see from there.

My 2018. Ram 2500 Diesel

I’ve got to say im impressed with the style and the performance of this truck ! If anyone would have told me that I would get over 20 MPG on the interstate I wouldn’t have believed them ! But I am getting over 20 MPG ! The seats are much more comfortable than the ones in my 2012 ram 3500 Laramie. I stepped down from a Laramie to a Traidsmen and I Love the truck ! Thank you John Shoemaker
